HELP! Badly damaged hair from Relaxer treatment :0(?

I used a relaxer treatment on my hair last night and it has completely fried my hair from about 4 inches from the root to the ends. It is brittle when dry and stringy and breaks easily when wet and is coming out in chunks of broken bits. Can anyone recommend to me what i can do apart from getting a crew cut? :0(HELP! if its breaking and coming out in chunks its already too late. You can try neutralizing again and a reconstructor but what you'll have left over will look thin and stringy, so go for the pixie cut and call it a lesson.
Did you do anything else after your relaxer like condition your hair or use heat? If you use heat then you should make sure it's low, use heat protectant or use none at all. After a relaxer you should always netralize well. Then to a reconstructing, and then a light protien and maybe a moisturising treatment. If you haven't done that so far you should. Try things by organic root stimulator, like the hair mayonaise and get the carrot oil by them to use on your hair as a daily cream.
